Education Technology
Supporting the responsible and effective use of technology in education through strategy, system strengthening, research-to-policy translation and implementation support.
Pilirani Kumasewera, commonly known as P. Kay, is a Malawian education technology leader, entrepreneur, speaker and personal-development advocate working at the intersection of learning, technology, leadership and human potential.
Across education, technology, entrepreneurship and personal development, P. Kay's work is grounded in the belief that people and institutions improve when they gain the tools, confidence and systems to solve meaningful problems.
Professionally, P. Kay leads EdTech Hub's work in Malawi, supporting efforts to strengthen how technology is used across the education system. His work has included close collaboration with government, development partners, implementers and innovators seeking to improve teaching, learning and education-system performance.
As an entrepreneur, he has spent more than a decade building education and human-development initiatives. Through Padziwe, Soar to Infinity and The Value Project, he explores how digital learning, coaching, communication, disciplined self-development and practical problem-solving can create opportunity.
His broader mission is simple: help people see more possibility in themselves - and then equip them to do something useful with it.
Rather than separating education, entrepreneurship and personal development, P. Kay's work treats them as connected parts of the same challenge: increasing human and institutional capacity.
Supporting the responsible and effective use of technology in education through strategy, system strengthening, research-to-policy translation and implementation support.
Building ventures and solutions around education access, digital content, learning platforms, skills development and practical problem-solving.
Helping people strengthen communication, confidence, identity, discipline, leadership and their ability to create measurable value for others.
P. Kay's education work focuses on the practical conditions that allow technology to contribute to better teaching and learning: strong strategy, useful content, capable institutions, evidence, coordination and implementation discipline.
In Malawi, this has meant working across government priorities, digital-learning initiatives and sector partnerships while connecting global evidence to local realities.
Through the years, P. Kay has initiated a number of initiatives, each addressing a different part of the same ambition: expanding access to knowledge, capability, confidence and opportunity.
